=============================================================== DOOM2 Wad File Filename : expansiv.wad Authors : Craig and Brian Sparks Email Address : email@example.com Available at : http://www.tisl.ukans.edu/~sparks/DOOM.html Stop by and check out our other levels, screen shots are also available for all of them. The zip file 'expansiv.zip' contains both the 'expansive.wad' (single level only, MAP 01) and this text. To use: type 'DOOM2 -file expansiv.wad' after unziping the file into your DOOM2 directory. Description: My brother and I have built over 50 levels to date. Five of our earlier levels, were released on the Book/CD ROM 'Tricks of the DOOM Programming Gurus' by SAMS Publishing. This is the highest quality WAD I have yet made. This level is also the largest I have yet made. It is visually complex and interesting to look at. I have attempted to provide a realistic, detailed and believable architectural theme. Overhangs, ledges, and tunnels are appropriately supported by wood beams through out the level. The level is not just big (445 K unzipped) but extremely expansive (thus the name) and fairly tough to play. The selection of monsters is significantly harder in muliplayer mode. There are a few surprises (no stupid traps though) so save often. All of the secret is marked so you will know if you missed something. The level seems to take around 40 minutes to complete. Good luck and please let me know what you think. P.S. Just because there is a Cyber Demon (Rocket Man) in a level doesn't mean your supposed to kill him, just avoid his rockets! =============================================================== * Play Information * Map # : 01 Single Player : Yes (Very doable, but tough) Cooperative 2-4 Player : Yes (Best) Deathmatch 2-4 Player : Yes (but not recommended) Difficulty Settings : 1/2 (Less Hard) 3/4/5 (Hard) New Sounds : No New Graphics : No New Music : No Demos Replaced : None * Construction * Editor(s) used : WinDeu5.24, IdBSPv11b, RMB 2.1 Known Bugs : None, please report any to: firstname.lastname@example.org * Copyright / Permissions * Authors MAY use this level as a base to build additional levels.
