Although this is the second wad I started on, it is the first wad I have finished. (The first level I started on was 'Underworld', E2M7 on PM7.WAD or MAP22 on PM6.WAD. Until I got and used BSP, it had severe HOMs and I could not finish it. By the time I used BSP, I was busy revising 'Demon Pyramid' which was already finished.) It took me a long time to build the level and even longer to playtest and modify the level.

=========================================================================== Title: Demon Pyramid Filename: DMPYRMD1.WAD Author: Patrick Martin Email Address: firstname.lastname@example.org Misc Author Info: I am a Doom fan. Prior to Feb. 1, 1996 I had no means of reaching other people with a computer. In other words, I have been unable to play multi-player Doom. Now I can share my pwads as well as find comrades-in-arms or fragbait. Description: Although this is the second wad I started on, it is the first wad I have finished. As my first level, 'Demon Pyramid' is special to me. Of all the levels I made so far, Demon Pyramid was the one level I revised the most. I have placed most versions of Demon Pyramid in this wad. E2M1 is the first version while E2M5 (also E2M5 in PM7.WAD or MAP15 in PM6.WAD) is the latest and, hopefully, final verison. This level was inspired by the scene from Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark where Indy enters the jungle temple to get the artifact, which looks like a golden head. Editors used : Win32DEU 5.24 (for creating most of the level) BSP1.1x (for node building on E2M3) BSP1.2x (for node building on E2M4) Warm16 (for nodes, blockmap, and reject on E2M5) Known Bugs : E2M1 has too many things such that things on the pyramid flickered or disappeared. (I have not tested these levels on other machines. I use a Pentium-100 with 16Mb Ram. Some levels may slow down some machines. Any feedback would be very helpful.) * Copyright / Permissions * You MAY use these levels as a base to build additional levels.
