SIMON10.WAD (ver 1.0)
Newsgroups: alt.games.doom Subject: heres a NEW doom patch to try from OZ ================================================================ Title : SIMON10.WAD (ver 1.0) Author : Simon VOIGT Email Address : <email removed> Description : Simon10.wad is at this stage a two mission PWAD E1M2 requires you to raise some stepping stones to get to the exit. Each stepping stone has to be raised 6 times. let me know what you think of this feature. Additional Credits to : Some of the guys at RMIT (Melbourne) for playtesting this wad over a network. They know who they are. How to use this PWAD : doom -file simon10.wad ================================================================ * Play Information * Episode and Level # : E1M1, M2 (so far!) Single Player : Yes Cooperative 2-4 Player : Yes Deathmatch 2-4 Player : Yes Difficulty Settings : Yes but its heaps better on ultra violence New demos : No New Sounds : No New Graphics : No but starwars interogater droids would be fun! * Construction * Base : New levels from scratch Build Time : A lot of hours over 1 week of holidays, This is my first patch. Please try it and mail me comments. Editor(s) used : DEUGCC 5.21, IDBSP and REJECT 1.0 * Copyright / Permissions * This is shareware I guess. Any comments would be great and will help me design better levels My aim is not to produce huge levels, but rather to have the sizes roughly proportional to ID's own levels. BTW I am a struggling Uni student, if someone was so pleased with the work I was doing that they sent me money, I would NOT be offended. ;-) Authors may use this level as a base to build additional levels but only if they change it heaps and still give me credit. (and leave permissions open do that I can do the same to your work). You MAY distribute this WAD, provided you include this file, unmodified. You may distribute this file in any electronic format (BBS, Diskette, CD, etc) as long as you include this file intact. * Where to get this WAD * FTP sites: infant2.sphs.indiana.edu in /pub/doom/wads/ until it is moved to the proper directory, look for the file SIMON10.ZIP in the incoming directories. ===========================================================================
