Description: You and a few pals were assigned to guard a secret base. A wave of enemies beseiged the entire fortress, above and underground. You managed to hide out for a few days in a remote sector by playing dead. All of your back-up met some truly gruesome fates earlier, so it's up to you to clean out the base. Though you only have a pistol and fifty bullets, you must survive...somehow.... Additional credit: Sir Robin, for giving me advice. Files in this zip file: thegwave.wad, thegwave.txt Play information: map#: map01 -Doom2 only Single player: Yes. Co-op 2-4 player: Yes. Though Not tested. Deathmatch: Yes. There are weapons that only appear in Deathmatch mode. All of the respawn are confined to one region to speed up fragging, but you can still go for the more powerful weapons if chainguns, shotguns, and super shotguns aren't your preferred weapons. Further DM note: Pick the Death match style you enjoy playing most. Further DM request: If you play this on Death match, please send me some demos to watch. :) I'd like to know if I did a good job in that department. Difficulty settings: Yes. Fully implemented. New Graphics: No. New music: Yes. More experienced Doomers will recognize it. :) Demos replaced: No. Editors used: Doomed 4.2, Wintex 4.3 and Edmap Contruction time: Over two months. Contruction base: None, this is from scratch. Known bugs: A save will halt the "fire flickering" light in two sectors. Since it's consistent, you probaly won't mind so much.
