This map was originally designed for Deathmatch by John and myself, but I subsequently textured the level, added lighting effects, difficultly levels, some new graphics, and extended the map. Description : This sewage works is populated by nasty monsters from hell who are trying to kill you. Your objective is simple - get out alive. You may find that obvious exits are blocked but you must persevere in your quest, which will eventually take you underground into the sewers themselves. Cheating is not necessary! Warning: The difficulty levels are harder than on an average Doom level. Ultra-violence is *very* tough (well I think so!), but has been tested and is just about possible. (And who would, anyway?!) There is a bug in original DOS versions of DOOM with handling patch Sprites and Flats - you have to replace EVERYTHING in order for DOOM to work right. Because of this, this version of the Sewage Works WAD is missing some of the new graphics that the full build has. If you have a decent version of Doom (or Olivier Montanuy's DeuSF utility), the full version should be available as 'WORKS.WAD' from the same place that you got this. * Copyright / Permissions * Authors may NOT use this level as a base to build additional levels.
