Description
"The Gallery" was my first finished DOOM level using the DOOM editing utilities (DEU) version 5.0. Although it's a simple level, and not too hard to beat, I keep getting drawn back to it for some reason. I built it as an exercise in "limited resources". This means that you're likely to run out of ammo before you run out of enemies, so make every shot count. (And watch those corners!)

This started off as a small WAD to test my MasterBlaster weapon patch
(which is also included in here). Turned out that I spent a lot of time
in here, improving things. If you ever design your own weapons, this WAD
might also be of use to you.
Thus I present: The Shooting Gallery!

The switch in front of you activates the Demons - fire a single shot to
agitate them and you're on your way! The door behind you leads to the other
utilities: a teleporter to the tower, the ammo room, a monster-proof
observation  room, a weapon test chamber (see below) and the monster
activation room with 4 switches (from North to South):
Imps, Cacodemons, Barons and Lost Souls.

The weapon test chamber contains a dummy of player one, on whom you can
test your weapons. May I suggest activating God Mode (by typing IDDQD)
first?
By the way, did you know you can die in God Mode? Run my munchkin patch
and try it out on the dummy >:-)

While you can play Deathmatch with this, I don't really advise it.
I _have_ blocked the way into the ammo room, and there are only
shotguns around, so play DeathMatch v2.0 with ammo respawn.
Or better yet, play LEDGES.WAD - best DM play I ever saw!
