================================================================ Title : Assault On Outpost 13 Filename : ASSLT13.WADa Author : Andrew Orman Email Address : <email removed> Misc. Author Info : Really good in bed. Insane Star Trek fan, member of the role-playing team FOBEA (Fellowship Of The Bleeding Eyeball Aust.) Description : It's been 24 hours since the Phobos and Deimos bases disappeared. Reports have been coming in from all over the Earth of "demons" appearing from thin air and swamping UAC installations. Everybody is on edge. Outpost 12 reported a massive attack force, but then communcation was cut. Your job is to secure the base and fend off any attack. Good luck soldier! Note: The idea of this level is basically to SURVIVE by using your head and watching your ammo. Note that the exit switch is OUTSIDE the base, but it can only be raised by a switch INSIDE the base. If you want out, you're gonna have to work for it! Additional Credits to : iD for the greatest game of all time. Tip of the hat to John Carpenter. ================================================================ * Play Information * Game : DOOM II Episode and Level # : MAP01 Single Player : Yes Cooperative 2-4 Player : Yes Deathmatch 2-4 Player : Yes...doesn't really work as a deathmatch level, tho Difficulty Settings : Yes New Sounds : No New Graphics : No New Music : No Demos Replaced : None * Construction * Base : New level from scratch Editor(s) used : DOOMED The Real Thing v4.2 Known Bugs : None (known) :) * Copyright / Permissions * You MAY distribute this WAD, provided you include this file, with no modifications. Guess I'll have to learn how to edit an entirely different game! :) I wrote this level on my trusty old 486DX33 and it ran like a DOG because of all the bad guys in the level. I'd suggest playing it on a high end 486, or preferably a Pentium! :)
