Description             : Five new monsters, some graphics, and a heap
                          of wacky sounds for Doom, Ultimate Doom, or
                          Doom II.  This is one of the first patches I
                          converted to wad format back in early 1997.
                          It was distributed on local BBSs at the time
                          but now I can dust it off and put it on the
                          net for all to enjoy  ;)

                          The only changes from the original are:
                          - added some graphics: titlepic, m_doom,
                            stdisk, and endoom.
                          - added extra copies of the sky textures for
                            use with Doom II.

Play with 'Plain Vanilla' Doom or Doom II:
 a) you will need to add the extra sprite graphics to crazdm20.wad
    using a program such as DeuSF, WinTex, NWT, etc.  For example:
      deusf -as crazdm20.wad
 b) with the extra sprites patched, just load the wad normally:
      doom -file crazdm20.wad
      doom2 -file crazdm20.wad

Play with a Source Port:
 A better option is to use a Doom Source Port that can import pwads
 containing sprite graphics such as: Boom, PrBoom, MBF, SMMU, PrjDoom,
 ZDoom, Legacy, etc.  Patching is not required with these ports, just
 run the wad as-is.  For example:  boom -file crazdm20

    Welcome to CrazDoom... 

All you wild DOOM junkies, like myself, are more than likely bored with the
current 27 levels and dorky monsters. This is not another B&Butthead or
cheesey Barney upgrade. No! This is your gateway to the most insane place on
DOOM. You want insanity? Asylum Software is bringing it to you!


    Asylum Software will not be held responsible for any damages to any .WAD
file. Use this product at your own risk!



    In order to upgrade your DOOM.WAD, you must run CRAZDOOM.EXE, set the
path to your DOOM.WAD or DOOM1.WAD, and select 'Install'. Away she goes...
A copy of the changes will be placed into BACKUP.WAD, if you decide to revert.

If you have the Shareware version you will get notices about some SFX and
pieces of Art durring Installation... Ignore them... Its just to let you know
that you really need to get the real game! So BUY DOOM NOW!!!!
