=========================================================================== Advanced engine needed : None, works in Vanilla Doom and beyond Primary purpose : Single player =========================================================================== Title : Madlab Filename : madlab.wad Release date : March 15, 2006 Author : Ryan Barreras (DomRem) Email Address : <email removed> Other Files By Author : None (First release) Description : A moderately-sized techbase heavily inspired by Ultimate Doom episode 2 (especially Deimos Lab). The difficulty is easy/medium, and is a 5-10 minute play. This is designed for single player, but functions well in cooperative too. As this is my first release, the map is a bit underdetailed, and was originally completed in May 2005. I made a few changes to it before uploading, but these were mostly cosmetic (light values, textures) so as to keep the 'first map' feel. Additional Credits to : Belial, Hobbs, and the rest of #DMClub for giving me feedback on the level and being awesome in general, Björn "Vader" Ostmann for a ZDoom script that I unfortunately cut out at the end to keep compatibility, and id Software for Ultimate Doom (in particular, Sandy Petersen for episode 2). =========================================================================== * What is included * New levels : 1 Sounds : No Music : Yes Graphics : No Dehacked/BEX Patch : No Demos : No Other : No Other files required : None * Play Information * Game : Doom Map # : E2M1 Single Player : Designed for Cooperative 2-4 Player : Player starts only Deathmatch 2-4 Player : No Other game styles : None Difficulty Settings : Yes * Construction * Base : New from scratch Build Time : 2 months (I'm a slow mapper) Editor(s) used : Doom Builder, DeePsea, XWE Known Bugs : Textures may appear to be misaligned due to the nodebuilder used (ZDBSP), although they will display correctly in ZDoom-based ports. * Copyright / Permissions * Authors may NOT use the contents of this file as a base for modification or reuse.
