=========================================================================== Title : OUT OF PHASE II Date Finished : 1 January 2002 (HAPPY NEW YEAR!!) Author : Karthik Abhiram Email Address : <email removed> Misc. Author Info : 19 year old Doomer from India, for more info see http://karthik82.tripod.com or http://www.newdoom.com/hosted/karthik Description : Sequel to "Out of Phase" - two maps done in the same style! These were based loosely on two of my Speedmaps, but even if you've played those before, you'll notice that a lot has been changed - these are not the same maps! Like in my first "Out of Phase", these maps also use the _METAL1_ doors, and the dark corridors with bright lights at the intersection :) A New Year Release! Additional Credits to : * My brother Varun for playtesting and useful feedback. * Damian Lee for very useful information about making images with the Doom Palette - I couldn't have made the new graphics without that! * To everyone who has given me feedback on my first "Out of Phase" level. * Doug "Opulent" Merrill, Albert Valls, Metabolist, Joe Pallai and Varun for recording demos of the first "Ophase". * Doomworld, for organising Speedmapping - these two levels have some parts from some speedmaps I made. * NewDoom.com for hosting me! * Doom Center and The 9th Gate team for inspiration and support. * The authors of all tools used to make these levels (see below). =========================================================================== * Type of DOOM or DOOM II file* New level WAD : Yes * Play Information * Episode and Level # : MAP01, MAP02 Single Player : Yes Cooperative 2-4 Player : 4 Player Starts included, but not tested. Maybe a few texture misalignments, but nothing serious. May Not Run With... : Two plain vanilla Doom II levels - Will work with anything :) * Additional Information * Gameplay Info : Skill 1 is very easy, Skill 3 is action packed, and Skill 4 is harder than the first "Out of Phase". Gameplay is less linear this time - there are interconnected passageways so you can experiment with different ways of playing these levels. There are 8 DM starts in each level. Some more weapons and items have been added for that. But I tested it without the extras in Skulltag. Anyway, I think Deathmatch should be fun in these levels, especially MAP02. Music : Eiffel 65 music like in the first "Out of Phase"!
