================================================================ Title : Reactor DM Filename : REACTOR.WAD Author : Tim Williams Email Address : <email removed> Misc. Author Info : I LOVE DOOM!! I also love red hot flowing metal, or just the cutting of it.. but alas, I don't have a lathe or mill yet. :( Also electronics is a biggie, science in general... Also kicking ass (ho hum) in Quake 2. Description : Level centered around nice architechture of the reactor core. Not much else. Additional Credits to : Mark Tracy - best friend. He's always got the most absurd (=best) ideas... :) ================================================================ * Play Information * Game : DOOM 2 Episode and Level # : MAP01 Single Player : See below Cooperative 2-4 Player : Player starts 1-4 are only present because DeeP whines about not having all player starts in. So I just piled them all in the same place. <EG> Deathmatch 2-4 Player : Er, umm, uhh, duh. Difficulty Settings : It's deathmatch, geez! (no) New Sounds : No New Graphics : No New Music : No Demos Replaced : We'll see, gotta get Mark over here for the first test anyways... :) "Theory of operation": the reactor room is hot and radioactive. Yes, you guessed it, it hurts. So you have to rush in and out of there as quick as possible to get the BFG. Doesn't sound too hard yet, right? Well, if your opponent spots you from the control room, he can shut the door on you, trapping you until you die from radioactive blisters! Muhuhahaha! There *is* a secret no-pain sector in the room, in plain sight even - but it's not the easiest to land on, and if you're one- on-one, it'd be a _real_ waste of time. Also something about a secret in the warehouse area, I think. <g> * Construction * Base : From scratch, with reactor idea from Mark. Editor(s) used : DeeP, DeeP, and nutin' but DeeP. Well, Wintex 4.3 to drop in the music. Known Bugs : Surely you jest!! Heck, I even made sure the crates look right, even if you can only see the tops of 3. :) * Copyright / Permissions * Lesse, standard disclaimer - don't distribute without this .TXT, etc. * Where to get this WAD * FTP sites: Nowhere yet, but I'm ever hopeful...
