It works the same way it does in modern shooters: take no damage for several seconds after being injured and you'll regen your health back quickly. If damage was taken again while regenerating or waiting for regen to start, it counts as injury and you must wait several seconds again. Compatible with picking up any healing items. Other : Source code lump. === Play Information === Game : Any Gamemode : Any Build Time : ~3 hours >:| Editor(s) used : XWE, Doom Builder Known Bugs : When your health regenerates, taking damage and healing by other means at the EXACT same moment (via medkits, spheres etc) may not stop the regen if you healed more than you lost. This is rare to trigger and it hardly ruins anything really. May Not Run with : Anything but ZDaemon 1.09 b27 or newer. =========================================================================== * More Information * =========================================================================== You can tweak health regeneration as you wish using console. Use the following commands: set regen_maxhp X : Sets the max regenerable health. You can set it to a value greater than 100; it will work fine. Default: 100 set regen_pause X : Sets the delay between taking damage for the last time and starting to regenerate. Value is in tics. Default: 90 (~2.5 seconds) set regen_step X : Sets amount of HP it adds each time it heals you. Default: 2 set regen_freq X : Sets how often it health by "regen_step". Value is in tics. The smaller value is, the faster regeneration is. Default: 6 (~0.12 seconds) Note 1: One second is about 35 tics. Note 2: If you're hosting a server you might want to use RCON to set these. Note 3: Setting regen_maxhp to 1 completely disables the regeneration. Note 4: All values must be positive.
