================================================================ Title : Scenes (for Doom ][ Only!) Filename : scenes.wad Author : Scott Appleton Email Address : <email removed> Misc. Author Info : This is the first wad (or set of wads) that I've uploaded; I also have a 10-wad series based on the first ten levels of Doom ][ (HIGHLY modified!), which I don't upload for obvious reasons. Comments? : Please use e-mail for comments, suggestions, praises and flames (and for notice of any heretofore-undiscovered bugs). Description : There are 3 wads in this file, subtitled as follows: Map 01 -- Castle Map 02 -- Country Club Map 03 -- Vacation, further subdivided: a) Island b) Dungeon c) Caverns d) Mine e) Mountain The wad is designed for single-player mode, although spots are provided for cooperative multi-player. There are no deathmatch spots, as the wads are all way to big and complex for deathmatch-style slaughter. (That's not to suggest that I don't play deathmatches, just that I don't design deathmatch wads.) Additional Credits to : Matthew Ayres, the author of WADED; Matt and Danny, the redoubtable beta testers; Of course, everyone associated with ID, without whom we'd all be EXTREMELY bored. ================================================================ * Play Information * Episode and Level # : Maps 01 - 03 Single Player : Yes Cooperative 2-4 Player : Yes Deathmatch 2-4 Player : No Difficulty Settings : 1-3 are the same, 4-5 are somewhat tougher. New Sounds : No New Graphics : No New Music : No Demos Replaced : None * Construction * Base : New levels from scratch Editor(s) used : WADED 1.83 Known Bugs : None known, unless you count a slight slowdown in one section of map 01 on slower machines (there was no slowdown on the Pentium, 486-100, and 2 of 3 486-66 machines the wad was tested on. One of the 486-66s did have a slight slowdown for some reason, and on slower machines it will probably be more noticeable). * Copyright / Permissions * Authors MAY use this level as a base to build additional levels. Just make sure to credit me and show that you used my wad to build yours. You MAY distribute this WAD, provided you include this file, with no modifications. You may distribute this file in any electronic format (BBS, Diskette, CD, etc) as long as you include this file intact. * Where to get this WAD * FTP sites: ftp.cdrom.com
