Once again I just went the way of scripts, although I did add some colored lighting for effect(isn't too distracting)and whatnot. The scripts are just the most fun part of making a ZDoom map though. I can a actually talk to the player while he's playing the map, like I did here. You're lucky I know all that text is annoying otherwise you'd be seeing it every five seconds. I love it! Also you need to use jump in this map, and mlook is good too, for aiming and stuff. Deathmatch 2-4 Player : No Difficulty Settings : Yes New Sounds : You shall be happy to know the cricket is nowhere to be found. New Graphics : Sprffy textures from GothicDM/2 New Music : Yes, poor Mark Klem, if he only knew I ripped stuff from him. Demos Replaced : Nope, but send me if you want...though the final fight is hard as hell. * Construction * Base : Level and script from scratch Editor(s) used : WadED, WadAuthor, Warm, Wintex, NWT, CLED, CMapTool, PSP, Dehacked Build time : Eh about three weeks...givertake(Zort 2 was released on April 1) Known Bugs : Um, from a certain angle you can pick up some HOM in the nuke area. I tried to fix it, and that's the best I could do. What it is, is those grates are bullet-proof and it's a long story, anyway, just ignore it...or if it really bugs you, kill yourself. * Copyright / Permissions * Authors may NOT use this level as a base to build additional levels.
