DOOM 2 - Flashback to Hell
A 15-level mapset for DOOM 2 that is compatible with the "-complevel 9" setting. Features new music by PRIMEVAL and James Paddock, as well as high-quality redone sound effects by Per Kristian Risvik. If the new music tracks are buggy in ZDOOM while using FMOD, updating to the latest non-official revision might fix the problem. I recommend using Fluidsynth, though.
Khorus is a 9-level wad, in which you should battle against evil in woods and deserts, caves and vaults, the ancient abandoned temples and catacombs of the forgotten civilisation (that has some related roots with the ancient Egypt's one), and all it - while listening to Russian folk music, or later motives close to them (with a possible small exception). You will learn, why nobody likes cyberdemon's voice, also you will take part in the search of our hero's missing red cow, and feel the Mastermind's wrath, who couldn't expect that despite numerous and difficult traps, prepared for you, nevertheless, you'll break into his den to make the court of Doom come true.
Doomkid's Deathmatch 2!
Hello again fellow Doomers. Here I have 15 more deathmatch maps for you all to enjoy, as usual! I think people who are familiar with my deathmatch stuff will find these to be above my previous par - I spent more time than usual working on tactical layouts and clean visuals, while keeping the maps fairly simple/accessable to any player of any skill level. Some of these are remakes of older maps of mine, but revamped for a deathmatch. If you're familiar with them you'll have an advantage when you play online. Each map is full of secrets so wall humping anything that may look out of place is always a good idea. Map10 has a -ton- of secret areas and walls that can be walked through, and the layout of the map changes a lot if all the switches are found, turning it from a tactical map with hiding spots into a totally level playing feild. I hope you all enjoy these, I had a lot of fun making them and testing them with other doomers!
Episode 1 replacement for Doom1. Nothing fancy, just shoot stuff and make sure you record a demo when you're doing it. I started working on this in 2009 but lost interest in these kind of maps when I played SoD and Sunder. I really don't like Doom1 and the pwads for it, so please don't compare this to doom the way id did because it's nothing like it (the only thing they have in common is that they're both boring shitfests). I only made the maps as learning progress and in the end, I just mapped to get the wad done so I could release it.
This is my first ever wad. I only have couple weeks experience with doom Builder and slade3. Plot: there ain't really much of a plot other than the wad takes place after the revelations from the Bible and your character is like Moses meant to stop the Devil or some shit. I will give an overview of the levels. 1. The Nightmare - this was a filler level that I made in like 5 minutes. 2. Awoken - Another filler level, nothing special 3. Subway - This was actually the first level I made. it started off with just a rectangular room and I just kept adding on to it. 4. Underworks - This was made to be a filler level but I kept adding on to it and playing with doom builder. this level may seem to have a difficult ending but its not that bad and very possible. I have playthroughed every single level. 5. Duel of fates - This is the level where i just gave up and decided to quit the making the wad. too many problems and I got too frustrated so i rushed it and gave it an ending thats kinda cheap and easy. it was meant to be much bigger and harder. 12. Polar Abyss - ( you will need to type "idclev 12) to warp here) This level I made as a tribute to one of my favorite childhood games. i remember playing donkey Kong country 2 back in 97' when I was kid and I always loved the level arctic abyss and the atmosphere and music. This level was kinda rushed so it ain't that special in terms of level design. its suppose to have a donkey kong platformer feel to it. oh yeah I forgot to add that this wad is meant to be played with openGL as your software renderer. If your wondering what the pistol, chaingun, chainsaw and bfg replacment sprites are. those are custom sprites I made myself with stuff i have laying around the house and digitized in photoshop.
