It is a little known fact that the moonbase providing the setting for the first DOOM episode (Knee Deep in the Dead) has an extensive waste disposal system. Said waste disposal system went to Hell (pun intended) when the moonbase was invaded, however, leaving sloshing pools of green yuck all over the place. You beat the baddies in the moonbase and wrestled Hell itself to its knees; are you ready for the next challenge? The sewers are clogged with hellspawn, and you've just been named plumber. Guess that cushy desk job will have to wait a wee bit longer...
"The Abandoned Barracks"
This is my VERY first PWAD... I didn't expect to make masterpieces such as OPOST21.WAD or UAC_DEAD.WAD in my first try, but for those who choose to give my level a shot, here's a brief summary of what to expect... It's an outdoors setting (quite scenic if you like the mountain textures) with 4 hills, 8 abandoned barracks, some dark regions (possibly dangerous), and 3 floating or suspended high- in-the-sky chambers (you've got to see it to believe it... or at least I hope you get that sensation). It's very WIDE open level with several light pillars for extra decoration or obstacles to hide behind in deathmatch... It's simple in design cause this is my first taste of mapeditting DOOM (very complicated compared to Wolfenstein 3-D I might add)... Hope you enjoy it
Castle Phobos v3.1
A nine level episode where the theme is set in a castle environment that is meant to be a challenge. There are 3 Demos to watch to supply hints and show off some of the land. Included is new fantastic music to keep you going. The music is pure pleasure for those who have a General-Midi music device. There are new monsters: A Seargent that looks similar to the player for multi-player confusion, Death's Shadow replacing the imps. You will find that the levels get increasingly more challenging to level 5 and eases off on levels 6 and 7 and becomes hard again on level 8. Level 9 is only tough if you insist on destroying every demon. Remember, this level is built so that you will never become trapped. Every room that has an entrance, has an exit! (Note: as a challenge, I mean without using cheat codes!)
