Demons of Problematique
A short trip through hell, set on by a classic Doom story. Originally intended as just a Boom compatible level, I got a little carried away with it, especially the ending credits\scenes. It carries in at over 10 Mb because of the ambient sounds used... so turn off any music you have playing, turn up the volume on other music in ZDoom and enjoy! If you want to know your kill percentage, secrets found and playing time, wait until after the ending credits. This will run under GZDoom provided it supports ZDoom r538's features, but some lighting will look strange or too dark, no matter what setting.
Satanic is a hardcore and (I think) challenging ZDoom weapon/gameplay mod. The player becomes a necromancer, who has joined the eternal war. So, you'll have a chance to use both the darkest spells of the underground necromaniac cult and the fire-arms (who would be so careless wandering the Doom world without a gun, huh?) The name of this mod came from the Warcraft III map 'Defence of the Ancients' (aka DotA), where player could assemble an artifact called Satanic, which granted player the ability to steal his enemies' life when attacking. If you don't like the marvellous noir palette provided by Post, just remove the Noir.wad from the Satanic.pk3 It is strongly recommended to read the detailed description which could be found in the satanic.txt before playing this mod.
This edition of Doomguy's Warzone is all about the very best monsters from the 3 generations put together as one epic cast. To see who made the cut in All Stars!, check out the credit texture to see the names of the enemies that made it here. This edition comes with an Skulltag version that has more enemies and is good for Deathmatch and other gamemodes that this port has to offer, including Invasion. I consider all stars the hardest version of Doomguy's Warzone I have to offer for a good number of reasons. The normal gamebreakers such as the Whoopee Cushion are gone, some monsters are faster with more health, stronger attacks, and less frequent item drops to make this based on as much skill as possible. The Rifle is slightly stronger to equal the power of the M60, which isn't present in All Stars.
The experience of playing through Knee-Deep in the Dead is one that many gamers will never forget, but through the years the episode has become too easy for many to play through and enjoy the way they did the first time. Knee-Deep in ZDoom is an interpretation of Id Software's original groundbreaking production, Knee-Deep in the Dead. The team has focused on expanding the original episode by utilizing the power of Randy Heit's ZDoom port; adding new areas, features, and gameplay devices not possible under the original Doom engine. Knee-Deep in ZDoom is a new experience, but holds strong to the atmosphere of the original. Relive the fear. Relive the nightmare. Relive Phobos.
There is no story and all you do is press spacebar to flip the switches in hopes you reach the end of the tunnel. You get to listen to 100 different midi tracks while pressing the switches. Basically the easiest wad out there and the most boring to date. Think you have what it takes to beat all 30,000 levels? Then download this wad and put yourself to the ultimate test of your boredom if you can do it. I hear Barack Obama and his quote "Yes We Can!" and so can you if you have the dedication and determination to beat this wad and stay in there.
After the release of "Cheogsh", the ideas of what should be included in it have appeared; and the number of those ideas was so big – that the thought of making Cheogsh 2 have appeared by itself. But initial concept of the wad, around which this wad was meant to be built, hasn’t justified itself – this has predetermined long and uneasy destiny of all project. As a result, Cheogsh 2 came out not so epic, as it was meant to be initially. But we hope despite that, this wad did not become less interesting. Thanks all who helped us while we were working on it.
