Flashback to Hell - Original SFX version
It recently came to my attention that many players aren't too keen on the new sound effects I added to Flashback to Hell. I totally get where they're coming from, and so I am releasing this version without those new sound effects. Otherwise, the wad is exactly the same. Enjoy!
Updated version of White2.wad with some bug fixes such as crashed blue door on map23 in PrBoom+ format. Megawad, based on the results of a four speedmapping contests, held on www.iddqd.ru in 2013, with such themes, as winter, thaw, precipices, and ancient civilizations. Maps were finalized some time later (some - very significantly), and several maps were built from scratch. This megawad tells us the fate of the Marine, who was going to celebrate the New Year. Suddenly, however, the monsters changed seasons' offset, and as a result - they stole the winter. We have to go through the mountains, castles and underground crypts, visit the flooded city, a lonely island and even visit the hell's edge before it will be possible to restore the normal course of the seasons. But monsters were prepared for that as well - and with the return of winter, they prepared some unpleasant surprises...
20 shortish levels split into three episodes: Rear Entry, Knee Deep in the Sludge and Into the Blood "The Source" - That's what they call it. No one quite knows what it is, apart from the birthing grounds of the monstrous army that invaded your planet. Your team was sent to destroy it, but the way in was heavily guarded, and now only you survive. You'll have to find another way in... The maps are all relatively small with 2 min par times as average. all are designed to be demo friendly, possible from a pistol start and reasonably challenging on UV.
Doom 2 In Name Only
Imagine a world where Doom II was never released, and the only information that ever came to light was the level titles. Then imagine that nearly 20 years later, some people decided to make some levels based on how they interpreted the level name. Those very levels are in this WAD file.
My 12-level Megawad for Doom 2/Final Doom, and sequel to my previous work, Damnation. Horror-themed but still with plenty of action. Uses .ogg music files for the levels and text screens, as well as ambient sounds throughout the levels. Continues the story of Damnation, with the surviving marine encountering the Thanatos Base on the borders of the system. Overall difficulty of the Wad is hard, with some difficult encounters in addition to some surprising tricks and traps. Levels are generally large, and average about 10-15 minutes in length each. Uses some monsters/weapons/items from Skulltag. Requires Zandronum, as well as the additional files in the .zip (cc4-tex.wad, q2tex.wad, IDTEX.wad, skulltag_data.pk3, skulltag_actors.pk3). Read the .rtf file as well if you want to know more about the story and details on the development of the Wad.
...and death came along
My 15th UDoom map. Intro map for "...and hell came through" a base level. You know how they look. I wasted a lot of time working on this fucker, so I hope is not a boring one. = ) There are 2 ways to get to the end (kind of), you don't really have to go through the whole map to finish it....fucker. This wad is best played on Ultra Violence.
