Installation:

 Put the files in your DOOM directory and make sure you have 
 around 3 meg left on the disk. type:
   INSTALL
 Then if all went okay you can play DOOM by typing:
   BARNEY
 Your DOOM.WAD or DOOM2.WAD is not affected.
 This install only works on registered DOOM.

Combining with CHOOK (for instance):   
 Should you wish to play those patch with CHOOK, get the DeuTex 
 utility (in the /deu directory of the DOOM sites) and type:
   DeuSF -restore BARNEY2.WAD    (uninstall BARNEY)
   DeuTex -merge BARNEY2.WAD
 then install Chook. 
 Then type:
   DeuTex -restore 
 Your DOOM.WAD will be temporarily modified, then restored to it's
 previous state. BARNEY must NOT be installed.
 To play BARNEY + CHOOK type:
  DOOM -file BARNEY2.WAD CHOOK.WAD

Using under WinDOOM (beta version):
 DeuTex -merge BARNEY2.WAD
 WindDOOM
 DeuTex -restore
