Info      : On December 6th (2003) I decided to make a special map for Doom's 10th Birthday, which just happens to be on the 10th of Decemeber. I didn't have much time to prepare and I put a lot of hours into the design. Originally I thought to spell out 'Happy Birthday Doom' in my editor and then make the level within the letters. Somehow I ended up with '10 Years of DooM' instead and built the level within those letters. It was fun to make the interior of the letters look interesting and have it so the player wouldn't notice he / she was playing within a bunch of letters.... which would IMHO look lame. So it's only really obvious your inside letters from the automap. The word 'DooM' I designed to look like the traditional Doom txt from the title graphic. Once I got the letters all finished, I decided to expand and make a few rooms and halls away from the letters just to give the map some variety in the architecture department. I could've spent anouther week on this but thats the way it goes. I had 4 days and the time went fast. Heh funny this is my first Doom level and All my other wads are for Doom II. ;) I enjoyed making this map and I hope you enjoy playing it. Remember theres 8 secrets and HMP is easier than UV. If you can't get through on UV then try a lower skill level. ;) Doom on!
