================================================================ Title : MarkRoom 3 (Deathmatch) Filename : markrm3.wad Author : Mark Griswold Email Address : [email protected] Misc. Author Info : I spend WAY too much time doing this. Description : This is another in the arena-like series of my wads. (There are now 3 and more on the way.) Markroom3 is becoming my favorite. The wad is one room, but it has many sub-parts. The 2 main parts are the Stair Sections and the Floor Sections. The Stairs are elevated above the Floor sections and contain mostly ammo and armor. The Floor sections contain the weapons and the teleport Ladder. The Ladder can be used to traverse the room instead of the Stair sections. There is a Green Ladder which runs north and a Blue Ladder that runs south. Remember this. The Ladder can create some great teleporter races. \ Now, since you're probably confused and don't know what the hell I'm talking about.... Play the damn level and see for yourself! It's visually appealing in itself, but I think you'll find this to be a challenging level for even the best doom-gods. Plenty of good hiding places and plenty of good hunting ground. There is a non-coop exit located in the SE corner. It's not obviously labelled... sorry. It's the only switch on the whole level. Additional Credits to : Bill Childers, Aaron Humphreys, and Xinbo Wang for testing all of my levels. Chainsaw Jim, Daniel and all who distrubuted the great press and reviews of the first markroom wad. You guys are cool. ================================================================ * Play Information * Episode and Level # : E1M1 (Sorry, I had to switch back) ;-) Single Player : Yes zzzzzzzzz boring! Cooperative 2-4 Player : No Deathmatch 2-4 Player : Yes Difficulty Settings : Not implemented New Sounds : No New Graphics : No New Music : No Demos Replaced : None * Construction * Base : New level from scratch Editor(s) used : DEU 5.21 & BSP 1.1 (cool programs!) Known Bugs : Little bit of HOM when looking down entire length of room. Hardly noticable and *should* be fixed in 1.4 . * Copyright / Permissions * Authors MAY use this level as a base to build additional levels as long as they mention the god-awful amount of time I spent doing this level AND maybe pat me on the back a few times. You MAY distribute this WAD, provided you include this file, with no modifications. You may distribute this file in any electronic format (BBS, Diskette, CD, etc) as long as you include this file intact and at least consider giving me a little of the money you're making off of my work. * Where to get this WAD * FTP sites: infant2.sphs.indiana.edu
