=========================================================================== Archive Maintainer : Just maintain this file and that's it. Update to : v00 Advanced engine needed : ZDoom 2.7.0+ Primary purpose : Single+Coop play =========================================================================== Title : RV-007 Map Sector Experiments Filename : mmlgono.zip Release date : n/a Author : RV-007 Email Address : [redacted] Other Files By Author : [redacted] Misc. Author Info : I am, a modder, lol. More importantly, I need a way to allow modders and doomers to open more of that NSFW (doesn't have to be adult rating) expression freely without fear of repercussions. I am using this communication medium for my own doom mods, and so far, so good! Here at forkheads.net, there is a section for spam, open flaming, and NSFW discussions; there are still some rules, hopefully in reasonable enough restrictions. Other than that, I hope that other modders will find that place suitable to their projects than the main doom boards. So many potential projects get left out of the board, getting stuck in some bad social network interface or regressing backwards to email. That's why I decided to publicate forkheads starting with this readme text file. Description : my_map_laggo_or_nooh.wad This is my first map, but as an experiment rather than a demo. Nevermind the matter of gameplay for it has none (it sucks). Therefore, I could care less about votes or reviews of the file itself. Rather, I care more about feedback in mapping, scripting, and other editing methods related to the ZDoom sourceport. I can't do other ports, I'm settled, sorry about that. Additional Credits to : n/a =========================================================================== * What is included * New levels : 5 Sounds : Yes Music : Yes Graphics : Yes Dehacked/BEX Patch : No Demos : No Other : Lag cutting mapping methods. Clusters/slideshows at beginning, between maps, and multiple slideshows during a map possible. Not that my findings are considered revolutionary, but to my knowledge, it hasn't been done before. Other files required : doom2.wad * Play Information * Game : Doom2 Map # : MAP00 to MAP04 Single Player : Player starts only Cooperative 2-4 Player : Player starts only Deathmatch 2-4 Player : No Other game styles : None Difficulty Settings : Not implemented * Construction * Base : New from scratch Build Time : n/a Editor(s) used : n/a Known Bugs : Texture offset misalignment, lack of memory in computer Strife conversation, conflict of texture offset between shared line between normal/source sector and 3D midtex line (supposed to be a guard rail for a stairways within a 3D floor source or control sector). Door sectors with a certain open/close function design will not allow decals on its lines. Excessive 3D floor source/control sectors will not allow decals. May Not Run With... : Other source ports with no ZDoom name. Tested With : ZDoom 2.7.0+ * Copyright / Permissions * Authors MAY use the contents of this file as a base for modification or reuse.
