For starters, the infinitely tall demon horde can block you in cheap ways (especially when trying to move off a cliff) so you have to exploit the game ai tendency for monsters to run in a straight line toward you to sort of position hordes where you want them. The lost soul horde is similarly congestive, plus make your rockets kinda useless/risky due to splash damage. I figured out leaving the beginnning viles alive until you get the bfg is probably faster (as I did in this run), but that route is harder and I originally intended for the player to kill each beginning vile one at a time for the gameplay. Issues aside it was frustratingly fun and took a lot of attempts.
