Title : Docking Supply Station 1 Filename : DOCK1.WAD Author : Marc R. Bublitz Email Address : [email protected] (When I've paid my bill...) Misc. Author Info : This is my, well, I've made a lot of levels, now. My usual theme is deathmatching, as I find the challenge refreshing. Also, I take time when creating my levels, paying attention to Texture alignment, use of lighting, etc. so that my levels look as good as they possibly can. Description : The action takes place in a secret docking facility. Weapons and ammo aren't all that hard to find, but be warned, there are no BFGs or Plasma Rifles. You are stuck with only the primitive projectile weapons. I've created a few new textures for this level: A railing for the ship, and also a pop- machine that I created one night while deprived of my daily intake. There are also two new player death sounds sampled from Highlander, The Simpsons, and also from Aliens. All sounds were sampled by me so that I could make sure they were the best quality possible. Difficulty Settings : Not Implemented New Sounds : Yes New Graphics : Yes New Music : No Demos Replaced : None * Construction * Base : New level from scratch. Editor Used : DEU (My personal fave.) Known Bugs : Well, funny you should mention that... It took only a few hours to get the basic design of the level down, but debugging it turned into a three or four day nightmare! I've cleaned up most of what I could find, (it was all due to the fact that it used to be completely wide open, and I think it was just too much to handle.) but there are still a FEW places that have a HINT of the HOM. Fortunately they aren't key places, and in fact, normally won't be seen anyway. * Copyright / Permissions * Authors MAY use this level as a base to build additional levels. You may distribute this WAD in any electronic format (BBS, Diskette, CD, etc.) as long as you include this file intact.
