General: I don't usually "thieve" wads, but I thought Overkill was
an impressive looking wad worthy of a few enhancements
(I won't say improvements). The original did not have an
exit. I added one so that players could see a frag tally
and ...............so they could get to the next level :)
I thought that the original was too linear and that it had
too many annoying areas that were easy to get hung up on so
doorways were widened, and windows/staircases were added.
All windows and recessed ledges have been altered so that now
when a player gets slaughtered in front of one they will fly
through it or land in it (this adds an extra element of humor
and coolness) I also added teleporters too loop the level a bit
and keep the players traveled warpaths from becoming monotonous.
Impassible tags were turned off because this always seems to
make the walls sticky (maybe not). I had to pull a wall out to
eliminate a visiplane error that my widend doorway had caused.
I nuked the BFG (wasn't sure about it) and Soulsphere (keep frags
high and spread combat out) and I added new music and sound.
There are several other things altered from the original that
may not be evident at first. Most of the sound effects were
stolen from Dethtag.wad,Justdeth.wad, and the music from
	 Metalica.wad
Hopefully I have preserved much of the original wad's feel as
well as added to it. I included the original text file so that
the original author can still recieve his due credit.

*Construction*
	  Base: Overkill.wad
Build Time: Several hours were spent looking at the level and
trying different alterations to see what would work
best. Much of the new stuff I built was eventually
deleted because it didn't work well.
Editor(s) used: Primarliy Waded 1.83b, DCK for texture alignment, and
		the ultra fast ZenNode
    Known Bugs: None
Credit: Grease Lightning (Andrew Goode) for suggestions and
		playtesting.

*To play Demo Overkil2.lmp must be in the same directory as Doom2.wad
and the correct path set for Overkil2.wad

*Example: Doom2 -file c:\games\doom2\death\wads\overkil2.wad -playdemo
	  overkil2

Author Info : My brother and I have been creating WADS for more than
a year and a half, we have also been playing 2 and 4
player deathmatch for close to six months. Therefore
we have seen many levels and made many of our own. We
believe now that the levels we make are up there with
the best you'll find on the NET. Our development
			  hardware is a DX4 100 and a P90, both with 16MB ram and
64 bit PCI graphics, so some levels may run slower on
			  slower machines (obviously).

General : My latest deathmatch WAD. The result of more than a year
editing Doom levels and months of 4 player deathmatching.
The level is small and the frags come fast. 4 player is a
total scream but 2 player works just as well. Every weapon
is on the level and there is no exit (so no-one can
accidentally push it), but we believe this is the only level
you'll need, apart from my others :) As is with all my levels,
there is a constant theme and ALL textures are aligned. Detail
is important and I like the open area where you get the plasma
			  gun. See for yourself >:)
