These are six wads written one after another for the fun of it. They are written for doom 1.9. To run them, type Doom -file and then the disk probably c: the directory, and the filename of the wad. If in the doom directory you only need doom -file and the wads filename. They are all saved as e1m1, and will play as the first episode of doom. I.E. doom -file chanesaw.wad or doom -file c:\doom\wads\chanesaw.wad assuming that you store your wads in a subdirectory of your doom directory called wads. They support deathmatch and multiplayer modes, and three levels of difficulty. They were written on Waded 1.83 unregistered in one week. One a day except for the fifth day when I continued on day4.wad. The last one Chind.wad, took two days. My attitude was to sit down and do a wad consisting of things in wad design I was practicing. By the end of the week, I could do most of the things the doom engine allows. Altogether, these wads represent about 70 to 80 hours of intensive work. That is 7 to 8-9 to 10 hour days. I am uploading them informally on local bbs's only. I would like people in the area to play test them, tell me what you think, and give me a chance to modify them a bit before putting them out on the internet. Please address your comments to me on Courier Online, WNIN OnLine, or call my BBS at 812-421-9556 and leave email to the sysop, thats me. I am Stephen Huff, aka werewolf at Courier ONline, and Stalker at WNIN online. I am, by the way, available for modem play of doom, doom2, and heretic. I hope you enjoy these.
