Title : Jaguar Doom Conversion
Filename : jaguartc.zip
Release date : August 24th, 2011
Author : Dragonsbrethren

Description : This is the first release of the Jaguar Doom
Conversion that I've been sitting on for
entirely too long. It's based on Scalliano's
original TC which required Doom 2 and was only
compatible with ZDoom. This version runs with
doom.wad (any version should be supported) and is
						  vanilla compatible.

All of the Jaguar maps have been ported and have
any bugs preventing 100% completion fixed. New
graphics have been created to mimic the look of
the Jaguar version on any PC Doom engine.
Additional resources have been included to add
enhanced support for Boom, EDGE, Eternity, ZDoom,
						  and their derivatives.

Three optional files are included that can be
						  loaded alongside jaguartc.wad if desired:

						  jaguartc.deh: contains string replacements for
the E2 and E3 end texts and E1M2's name.
jagmusic.wad: includes MP3 copies of the Jaguar
music. I don't recommend using it.
purejag.wad: undoes the 100% completion map fixes
included in jaguartc.wad, removes the PC
intermission screens, and silences the level
							music in applicable engines.

Additional Credits to : Saxman, Scalliano, Kaiser, Insanity Bringer,

* Construction *

Base : Modified
Build Time : Realistically? A few hours with months and months
                          of procrastination.
Editor(s) used : Wad32X, Doom Builder 2, SLADE 3
Known Bugs : The intermission screens in Eternity don't work
correctly after Area 8/E1M8. I may cut single
episode support in Eternity because of this.
May Not Run With... : jagmusic.wad will not work with any engine that
                          doesn't support MP3 music.
Otherwise, it should run with everything vanilla
-compatible and the ports specifically mentioned.

Legally I have no idea where this falls. The maps were converted from the
Jaguar version, but are themselves originally conversions of maps from the
PC version which is required to run this TC. Likewise the custom graphics
are derived from the Jaguar version's graphics. I'm including the standard
"may distribute" text below this but keep in mind this applies only to *my*
work, not id's original maps or graphics.

Authors MAY use the contents of this file as a base for modification or
reuse. Permissions have been obtained from original authors for any of
their resources modified or included in this file.

You MAY distribute this file, provided you include this text file, with no
modifications. You may distribute this file in any electronic format (BBS,
Diskette, CD, etc) as long as you include this file intact. I have
received permission from the original authors of any modified or included
content in this file to allow further distribution.
